What is the Parametric Powder Search (PPS) Calculator Feature?

Use the Parametric Powder Search (PPS) function to find & compare different powder options for a given set of parameters. It works as follows:

1 - Enter key input parameters of your load

• Caliber, Bullet
• Case Capacity, Case Length, Cartridge Length (OAL), Barrel Length
   

2 - Select powders to be considered

You can select all powders, certain powder brands, or a specific set of individual powders.

3 - Define parameters to be matched

• Max pressure range
• Muzzle velocity range
• Fill rate range
• Powder burn range

As a result, you will see all powders that match the set criteria with their ballistic indicators. Relax the criteria or allow for more powders if you do not get any results.
